Nick just called from his bike ride to say that he road biked up little cottonwood, and mountain biked down Guardsman and that he only crashed once. He was going really fast and a tree branch caught his shoulder and flipped him over the bike and that his peddle gashed his leg but that its not that bad and the cut is high enough that is won't interfere with his skating boot. He also said it wasn't very long, but maybe deep and that he would just let it clot and keep going.
He was waiting for his coach to pick him up to switch out bikes so he could ride up Immigration... and so he just called to let me know what's up. He is in another world and kept saying how epic the mountain bike ride was and talking really loud and fast. I asked is he was sore, and he said he's not, but he will be once the adrenalin wears off. Better go get the ice packs ready!
