Memories of

Describe what she looked like
  • Normal height. Short gray/white hair. In the mornings she would have her hair wrapped in toilet paper. -Teri
  • When young she was blond and attractive. -Willard

Describe her personality
  • She meant well, but would sometimes come across as bossy and pushy. She was very giving and always had cookies in the freezer in plastic 1 gallon ice cream tubs. Always fixed up. - Teri
  • Dominant. She was a take charge person. Organized and creative in planning events. -Willard

What is something you learned from her
  • I don't remember her teaching me something specific, but the fact that she always had food for company was a nice thing to experience. Oh we would play Rummy with the tiles.- Teri
  • When there is something to be done, get with it. Finish the task/project now!! - Willard

What comes to mind when you think of her
  • She was always everywhere! If something was going on, she would pop in a few times before the event was over. She would just show up, invited or not. She would take every one's plastic forks, spoons and knives and sometimes paper and plastic plates home from wedding receptions and such and wash them. She had to know what was going on with everyone. -Teri
  • Dedicated to the church. Was able to speak and present in front of groups. Liked to be the leader and did a good job. -Willard
