There have been a few changes with this blog. The host site (Blogger)
came out with these new templates and I have been debating on if I
should use them, so I am just trying it out. I really like it so far.
Today was a relaxing one. We had to get our kitchen floor redone cause the linoleum was cracking and coming up, not anymore! I couldn't cook anything because of the event and I had to be home all day so I made it my relaxing day that I didn't get last week. Nick was gone to the dentist for a few hours and found out that he has to get some cavities filled and a crown. Thank goodness for dental insurance, that's all I have to say! He will get half the work done in 2 weeks, then the rest 2 weeks after that.
I had a nice chat with the floor guy. He is probably in his 40s and was asking me what a speed racer eats. Haha, after clarifying racer to skater - I told him lots of chicken. He said that his body isn't what it used to be and he needs to start taking care of it. Having a coffee and doughnut in the mornings isn't helping him out anymore. He was very interested in what foods athletes eat. I also told him lots of fruit and veggies - and some carbs. Working out is also important because speaking from personal experience just eating will only make you fat. It was really nice talking to him.
