Saturday night we took pretty much the most awesomest pictures ever of/in the universe! We drove about 40 miles west on I-80 till we could see the milk way and found a good spot to pull of on the side of the road. We set up the camera and started playing! The first pictures we took were all black with like 2 white dots. Thinking this whole trip was a failure, I took the auto focus off, lowered the aperture and bumped up the ISO. Pretty soon wordless pictures were being invented. Nick was the camera positioner and I was the settings girl. Being that it was 10:30-11PM it was hard to tell what we were shooting, but all in all we got some great shots considering we were first timers. For all the camera folks, our numbers were around... ISO: 6400 - 2000, aperture: 1.8 - 3.5, speed: 15 - 30 seconds. The colors and amount of stars that we couldn't see with our eyes but that the camera was able to pick up was just amazing.
