There are pictures on my camera that need to be posted, but I haven't had time to get them blog ready. I am about due to take more pictures of Nick skating again and would go tomorrow but they are doing lactic testing or something like that and I can't be there for that as needles and blood will be out and about. I have accidentally witnessed that procedure 2 times and I am in no rush to see it again or get pictures of people who were just stabbed in the ear lobes. I feel weak and like passing out just thinking about it.
Moving on. This past Sunday newlyweds/new neighbors Jon and Julia came over for food and cards. We had homemade pizza, we made 4 smallish ones and each person decorated their own. We then played Dutch Blitz and Nick won of course. We had some delish dessert that Julia made, it was cookie dough cooked in individual bowls in the oven, then once done topped with ice cream and chocolate syrup. It's very good and very rich, so you can only have a little bit, but it's so good! On a side note, Julia and I went to church together that morning as Jon had to work and Nick went to the short track races. As we were driving to church she said that she was glad that I offered to pick her up because she said that she wouldn't have gone, and I told her that if I didn't have to pick her up that I wouldn't have gone. We are both glad that we went together.
