Long Track

Finally some long track pictures of Nick. This morning Nick got up to head to the Oval and I went to the rec center for a little cardio thing (a dead ipod is useless) then went to the Oval just in time to catch the long trackers hopping out onto the ice. I hadn't really got to shoot LT yet, so I was excited to play. I need some practice - a lot. Trying to remember where the buttons are to adjust the settings real fast is still difficult. None the less I still love this camera. For all the pictures I used my 50mm 1.8 lens, ISO - 400.

I was able to get some video too. All the videos that I take will be posted on my youtube page: http://www.youtube.com/user/tfrank783

In other news this past weekend was pretty good. Saturday after Nick's morning bike ride and my work, we went to the Bee's baseball game thanks to Jon & Amanda. In the first inning the Bees scored 13 runs. Poor Tacoma pitch. Around the third inning, we met up with Josh, Bergandee, Dallas & Ali and had a nice chat while watching the rest of the game. One of the coolest things though, during all those runs getting scored in the first inning, there was a grand slam. Here, when a GS is hit the crowd is entitled to a free grand slam breakfast at Denny's - so that is what we did Sunday morning. After watching the Bees dominate the Tacoma Rainiers about, 18-8 we laid out on the field and watched awesome fireworks.
