We arrived in South Carolina Monday night. Friends and family arrived Tuesday and Papa's memorial service was yesterday. Most of the family just left heading to Virginia for the burial. We would have gone to that but they won't get back till after we leave to go back out west. Today the plan is to go to the beach and relax.

There are a bunch of pictures that will get posted (along with the wedding celebration pics) when we get back home and have time to edit everything. It's been a short week with long days filled with stuff to do.

Last night we there was a 3 foot gator between Mema's house and the neighbor's, then there was a copperhead snake on path by the front door. We have constant run ins with big huge roaches and have seen some trianchulas look a likes. The itchy trigger bugs and mosquitoes are interesting and unplesant, but there are products to help rid the after effect. It's a different kind of nature experience out here.

Here is a pic the last time we all saw Papa in 2007. Nick and I saw him this past August.

Nick is out working on Papa's yard at the moment, mowing the grass and trimming around all the little non-mower places. Gunna grab some breakfast and head to the beach!
